Recovery & Mobility

Hands-on work for stiffness and restriction, in the same place you train.

Move better. Feel better.

Whether you're dealing with tight muscles, limited mobility, lingering aches, or simply feeling worn down from training and everyday life, our Recovery & Mobility Sessions are designed to help you move and feel your best.

Each session is tailored to your individual needs, combining hands-on techniques, assisted stretching, mobility work, and targeted recovery treatments to relieve tension, improve movement, and support your body's recovery. Our goal is to help you feel better, move more freely, and stay active doing the things you enjoy.

What a visit may include

Chosen for what you walked in with, not a set menu.

  • Soft tissue work
  • Dry needling

If dry needling isn't a fit, or you'd rather not, there's plenty else that works.

About dry needling

A very thin needle into a tight band of muscle, to reach what hands can't.

It isn't acupuncture. Same thin needle, different thinking — acupuncture comes out of traditional Chinese medicine, dry needling works from anatomy. The needle goes exactly where we found the tight spot. The muscle often twitches and lets go, and that window of looser tissue is when the rest of the session does the most good.

Commonly used for

  • Tension headaches and neck pain
  • Low back pain and stiffness
  • Trigger points and muscle knots
  • Tendon pain — elbow, knee, Achilles
  • Shoulder and rotator cuff pain
  • Hip and glute tightness
  • Sciatic-type symptoms
  • Calf, hamstring and quad tightness
  • Plantar heel pain
  • Muscle guarding after an injury

What it feels like

  • You barely feel the needle

Far thinner than a blood draw. Most people don't feel it go in.

  • A deep ache or a quick twitch

The muscle can jump for a second when it finds the spot. Odd, brief, and a good sign.

  • Sore after, like a workout

A day or two of soreness or light bruising is normal.

  • You're in charge

We talk it through first, and stop whenever you want.

Give us a heads up if you're pregnant, take blood thinners, or have a bleeding disorder, a pacemaker, or a metal allergy — there's usually another tool we'd reach for instead.
