He brings a well-rounded, practical approach to care, with advanced training in athletic training, vestibular rehab, Parkinson’s rehab, dry needling, blood flow restriction, and ASTYM therapy. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Bethel College and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University.

A lifelong athlete, Taylor played football at Bethel College and threw javelin, set multiple powerlifting records in both high school and college, completed numerous half marathons, and finished two full marathons this past year. ACE-certified with over 10 years of experience as a personal trainer and more than 3 years working as a PTA in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, she brings a rare blend of performance training and clinical expertise. Katy is deeply passionate about coaching and has spent many years leading group classes. She has completed DNS Strength Training Levels 1 & 2 and also holds Pelvic Pro and TPI certifications.

Katy is passionate about helping people stay active, strong, and independent for life. Her training philosophy centers on functional fitness, balance, and injury prevention, with programs that are realistic, sustainable, and built around each client’s lifestyle and goals. Education is a core part of her coaching — she emphasizes teaching clients how and why their bodies should move more efficiently, beginning with proper breathing. Katy views every client as a whole person and avoids cookie-cutter programming, ensuring every plan is intentional and personalized.

Outside of the gym, Katy is a wife and a mother of six children ranging from ages 2 to 17. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids compete in sports, staying active in her church and local community, and unwinding through cooking and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the Mavs — sorry, not sorry.

Her ideal client is anyone looking to improve core strength, overall quality of life, and reduce the effects of aging. Katy believes muscle is like a savings account: every rep, every workout, and every time you hit your protein goal makes a deposit that protects independence for years to come!
